From the heart...
Two and a half years ago, I went part time before six months later quitting to go full time.
Man, It's been an interesting one.
There came a point with my photography that I kinda needed to invest full time hours into it before it was a full time job. Made for a very interesting year being basically skint but no pain, no gain right?
So, here I am - bit late really considering it's already bloody April but still, I'm looking at the year ahead and thinking positive thoughts! Calendar is full of exciting events and bookings- I've got my first destination wedding this Summer which I'm proper excited for. I'll be blogging that one, that's for sure.
The main thing I need to keep on top of really is social media. I'm really quite crap with it.
If you jump on my facebook page (here) it's not had any fresh content for ages but between being manic with shoots and struggling to avoid putting the same cliche and often cheesy wording it's easy to just ignore it and hope for the best.
Which kind of neatly brings me around to what this blog post is about truthfully.
I've rebranded and I'm kinda of having a relaunch in someways. This whole business is such a learning curve and I need to adapt as I go along and the most important thing for me, is that I just be me right now.
It's so much easier to write things out when it's not me trying to fit a brief of what I should be like or what I think people want their wedding photographer to be.
