The Plough at Leigh Wedding // Claire & Stacey

Ahhh crap. It’s been nearly a year since my last blog post. I wouldn’t mind so much but I set an alarm in my phone to go off every two weeks to remind me to post a blog so it really means for nearly a year I’ve been ignoring my reminder.. I guess this is why I don’t often set reminders…

Anyway! Tangent aside… back to the blog post in hand.

I’d love to say that all my couples find me waaaay in advance and it’s as simple as that but Claire and Stacey were actually a wee bit last minute.. Something had happened to their photographer and they needed someone. Luckily for me, I was available as Wedding season for 2018 was a few weeks off really starting so, we met at a pub in Southampton and then a few weeks later, I drove to Kent for their wedding.

They’d booked The Plough at Leigh which is this incredible Pub/Barn space and it was just incredible. The weather could’ve been dryer maybe but we got to run outside for some portraits before it got wet again and the bar area is so beautifully decorated with hops hanging from the ceiling it was actually really lovely to just be inside.

These guys rocked, the wedding rocked and popping in the services off the M25 for a McDonalds at whatever time at night rocked.

This post is a little different in that I’ve made a slideshow for the images. Just hit play:

If you’re looking at getting married and are interested in having me be your photographer, I’d love to hear from you. Especially if there is a McDonalds on my route home…
